our internet has not yet been connected in our new apartment. thus, the serious lack of posting. most of you wont notice, but i do. Especially since i have sworn an oath to be a more faithful blogger.
So, we're settled. at least, as much as one can be at this point. We are moved in, Evan and started school, and my job will begin starting September first. We really love the little life we have begun here in our Chicago apartment. Our good friends live only blocks from us, and apart from the minor quirks of our apartment (power outages, obscure water temperatures, the L train running right outside our window every 4 minutes, cockroaches, the usual...) we have found ourselves to be quite comfortable. We are still waiting for our TV and internet, so obviously we arent COMPLETELY comfortable yet, (ha!) but we are well on our way to being a well established little couple. its cute.
this new life though, like any new phase, brings with it its trials. Now that i am done with school and Evan is not, i have found myself in a constant state of boredom. Part of it is the lack of work the past 2 weeks, but most of it is a serious dislike of the amount of homework the Moody professors assign to their students. Its even worse now that its not my own. All i want to do when Evan gets home at night is spend time with my husband whom i havent seen all day, and instead i find myself pacing the apartment and plotting ways to capture and burn his Hebrew textbook. Drastic times call for drastic measures, folks.
i pray for patience, i pray for understanding, and i pray for a hobby.
