dont let the bed bugs bite.
that little rhyme clearly knew nothing about bed bugs. As if you can tell them not to bite.
folks, we have reached number 567 i cant wait to leave Chicago. We have bed bugs. As if the cockroaches and mice weren't enough, our new roommates seem to have made themselves more than comfortable. I think i want the mice back. Mice dont build colonies on top of your mattress and bite you while you sleep. Its so gross. We fall asleep itching ourselves out of paranoia, wake up in the morning covered in bites that look and feel like mosquito bites, find little apple-seed sized critteres crawling around our bed, and our own friends are afraid to come over to our apartment for fear they will transport them back to their own place.
Honestly, haven't we had about enough yet? We're barely making ends meet, I've been sick all month, we are up to our armpits in doctors bills, we were the victims of a hit and run last week, and now this?
I hate being one to complain, i honestly do, but there are some things i just dont understand. Even a week of relief would be welcomed.
Evan and I have had countless conversations about our current situation. He's always better at having a good attitude amidst things like this. Attitude isnt my strong point. Im trying so hard not to hate Chicago and hate where we are and hate everything thats happening. And im trying so hard to let go of everything and trust that God has purpose and a plan for us in all this.. but its just so hard.
Thats all i really have to update with for now. This is where we're at.
so sorry to hear about things :( i can certainly relate to not always having the best attitude. i can't begin to imagine what it's like in your shoes right now but i'll be praying for you Grace.
