climb every mountain.

Well, we have been in Colorado for just over 3 weeks now, so I figured maybe it would be about time for a quite update. There have been more than enough circumstances to remind us that we really need God (stress, loneliness, stomach flu, financial worries, the usual...) but overall we are feeling very blessed with our new life out here.

First off, we LOVE our apartment. This was already stated in a previous post with our video tour, but i just wanted to say it again :) It may just be a one bedroom apartment, but we call it home, and are already feeling very settled and comfortable. AND... no mice, bedbugs, or cockroaches! :)

Our jobs are going great as well. I'm nannying for two babies (about 3months and 4months), and am really loving it! It's a big change from my previous job, but so far I am loving working with the families, and the babies are great. I feel very blessed. Evan has started teaching Bible to 7th and 8th grade boys at Faith Christian Academy, and so far, he's doing a great job! He's never taught before, so its all very new to him, but he gets to teach stuff that he's passionate about, and I'm so proud of how well he's doing!

Evan also starts his classes at Denver Seminary today. Thankfully, with everything else on his plate, he's taking a lighter load this first semester, so he'll only be having classes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. (yay for getting to keep Thursday date nights!) Please pray that with all of his responsibility this year, that he will be able to combat stress and discouragement and that I will know how to be a good wife to him in the midst.

We are still looking for a Church. We have visited a few, but it takes a little while to know when you've found the right fit. We are praying the God will soon bring us into a community where we can serve and be encouraged.

We have been very blessed to have met a lot of really great people lately. We are praying that God will turn many of them into lasting friendships... we have been pretty lonely out here so far.

Well, that's about the jist of it. For those of you have been praying for us, thank you! And please dont stop!
